Update on COVID-19 potential contact at OLP Leadership Convention

Message regarding COVID-19 potential contact at the Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) Leadership Convention

On March 9th, it was announced that Councillor Josh Matlow, had been in contact on Thursday, March 5th with a person that tested positive for COVID – 19 (Novel Coronavirus).  Councillor Matlow, who attended this weekend’s OLP 2020 Leadership Convention, is asymptomatic but has opted to place himself in self-isolation in an effort to be cautious.

The general public may learn about COVID-19 through the web page created by the Ministry of Health that will be updated twice a day at 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. EST and will provide general information on each new confirmed case of COVID-19, including gender, age, public health unit, hospital (if applicable), where acquired and status. The information provided will reflect what has been confirmed by local public health authorities at that time.
