MPP Mitzie Hunter is a strong and experienced leader who has been serving as Member of Provincial Parliament for Scarborough-Guildwood since 2013. Mitzie grew up in Scarborough, and is a fearless advocate for her community. She is well known as the subway champion, and for making gun violence a public health issue.
She works tirelessly to improve her community of Scarborough-Guildwood. Working with residents, local organizations and community partners to enhance the economy for workers and small businesses, hospital and health services, community safety, education, transit, affordable housing, food security, youth opportunities and seniors’ concerns.
